2013 Halloween Costume Ideas

It's getting near that time to begin thinking about costumes for the big holiday this month, Halloween. If you're like me, brainstorming ideas can be a challenge as one must walk that fine line: not too expensive, not too skimpy, warm enough in case of cold weather, unique, and something that makes you look good. I generally shy away from those store bought outfits because 1) I don't like spending $50 on a costume, and 2) everyone seems to have the same ones. I've been doing some research for this year and here are a few of the best ideas I've found! Have you discovered any good ones?

  1. I just stumbled across your blog while wandering the bowels of Pinterest, and we might be kindred spirits -- I just posted a Rosie the Riveter costume on my own quasi-history-&-lifestyle blog! I love what you're doing, and it's always really nice to see some other history lovers.
