Working Wardrobe: May 16

Although I'm not working this week, I decided to go ahead and do my working wardrobe post. Today I've been on the hunt for a summer job, something I've been working on all week. Even though I've had several things to do, such as a Portfolio Defense Presentation (and I rocked it!), it's just been a bit disconcerting to have so much free time. I've become accustomed to busy days filled with homework, classes, and work after the past few years of grad school. So to now have hours upon hours to hang out and enjoy summer really feels strange. I've taken it upon myself to keep busy by organizing and packing up my things in preparation for the big move to Mikael's in July.

For today's outfit, I wanted to be casual, but still professional for an interview at a darling local bakery. I wore my black leggings, medium blue chambray shirt, and black formal vest. It's always kind of fun adding a menswear piece to an outfit. It shakes things up and adds a cool contrast. Since it was a bit brisk outside I added my white tuxedo jacket for an extra layer that also stood out from my outfit.

Tomorrow, I graduate from graduate school and will officially be Anne Papineau, M.Ed! It's hard to believe, but I am so excited to have accomplished this goal! I'm looking forward to a fun weekend celebrating with friends and family! I hope you have a great weekend!
