Working Wardrobe: May 22

H&M Dress | Gap Jacket | J.Crew Belt | Michael Kors Bag | Coach Earrings
J.Crew Pin | J.Crew Sunglasses

It's funny, I feel like this week is passing so much quicker than last week. I think I am finally truly enjoying my days without work. It's given me the opportunity to work out in the mornings, take time as I cook meals, and lay out at the pool with my roommate. I've also been packing up my place and working on a few wedding crafts. It's been slow and easy, which really is refreshing after the frenzied pace of life for the past two years.

Aside from lazing around, job hunting has been a priority. My outfit from today was one I chose deliberately as I pursued a few leads. The dress was fun and the right weight for summer, but also the perfect silhouette for a more business like occasion. It's by far my favorite dress and definitely a go-to for me. The shift dress style with the t-shirt top design makes it incredibly versatile. I also just adore the contrasting polka-dot print in black and white, which helps it feel modern and makes it an easy closet staple. I always add a thin belt to the dress to enhance my shape and depending on the event I usually top it with either a tuxedo jacket, cardigan, or jean jacket.
