a date at the diamond

One of my favorite activities of the summer is going to baseball games. Maybe it's just a combination of the hot dogs, lively atmosphere, and people watching, but going always ends up being a lot of fun! If you are looking for a fun date for these last days of summer, try it out! Minor leagues, like Kansas City's T-Bones, usually offer cheaper tickets and lower priced concession food/drinks if you are on a budget! Or you can always tailgate before hand to save money as well and bring along another couple for a fun double-date!

This week my boyfriend and I attended a T-Bones game and had a wonderful time! Mikael's employer provided free tickets and the park was having a special that night for $1 can beers! The combination helped save us some money without compromising on entertainment, which was great. Below are a few pictures from our night! I chose to wear crisp black shorts, a bright v-neck t-shirt, and light circle scarf. I tried to keep my outfit fairly neutral in terms of style as ballparks aren't the place to make a fashion statement or dress incredibly girly. For that reason I wore small earring studs, a few bangles and a masculine watch, as well as my boyfriend's KC hat that I adore. I know it didn't show support for the T-Bones in themselves, but I was still supporting our city!
