History and High Heels: first date: summer festival

One of my favorite things to do during the summer is a visit to the local summer festivals here in Kansas City. They are so much fun and have such a great variety of genres, from bluegrass bands to beer tastings to artwork collectives. It's such a wonderful opportunity to get outside, enjoy the sunshine, and show off your fabulous outfit.

So your guy has invited you to a summer festival? Well that speaks volumes about him. That means he is adventurous, loves socializing, and is game for lots of fun. Also, it may mean he's really passionate about whatever venue you are going to, which is kind of awesome! It's a great way to get to know someone without the awkward formal chit chat as these places are great for people watching and chock-full of conversation starters.
