Happy Wednesday, friends! Last night, I struggled to find an outfit to wear. It was just one of those days where I knew that I was going to share a post on the blog and I just was drawing a blank. I recently got this blue tank dress at Loft, so it was on the top of my mind. After scouring Pinterest for inspiration and a bit of experimentation, the outfit came together. It's a fun mix of preppy and boho - leopard, plaid, and a tribal-style statement necklace. I added a pair of maroon ankle boots to continue the trend mix. During today's shoot, Willard (our cat) decided to join in! The fame is already getting to his head.
Today I just had to show you my two accessories. I'm sporting my red lipstick I featured in my Sunday night blogpost. The bright red has a fun pop against the blue theme. I've also been wearing this week my new Fitbit Charge HR. It has come to replace my beautiful Michael Kors rose gold watch only because of its practicality. Thankfully the purple color and small screen keeps it fairly unobtrusive in terms of styling. So I've been adding a bit of arm candy in the form of a Mexican friendship bracelet, a sparkly chain, and DIY'd tassel wrap bracelet.
As I look at this outfit now, I see so much blue... it would be perfect for a Royals or Sporting KC game! Have a great week and fantastic Labor Day weekend!
