Best of KC - Local Goods

Today the USA team is playing Portugal in the World Cup down in Brazil. This is such an exciting event and I can't wait to run over to Power & Light to watch the game with the enthusiastic crowd here in Kansas City. I love how passionate the community has become about the sport and it's doubly exciting to have local Sporting KC players representing the city in the match.

That brings me to my love of Kansas City. Kansas City seriously is the best city to live in. I love our delicious local cuisine (think Westside Local), fun local events (think Boulevardia), beautiful niche shops (think Local Pig), and lovely local goods (think Charlie Hustle Shop). So today, I wanted to share with you the best of the best of local goods that you can wear to show of your KC pride!

Charlie Hustle Shop - the best place for local t-shirts. Find the goods at Bunker or Westside Storey or online.

Baldwin - great place for KC hats and men's jeans. Find their store on the Plaza or Town Center or shop online.

Sandlot - high quality brand for leather goods, like wallets or iPad cases. Look for them at Garment District or shop online.

Sock 101 - fun bright socks for men. These can be ordered online or bought at Westside Storey.

Frankly Basic Boutique - a fashion-forward shop for women. I'm in love with their shoes and dresses that are at really reasonable prices! A must see store located in Brookside and Town Center or just shop online.

Hammerpress - for beautifully designed graphic pressed prints, look no further then this shop! Stop in at their store in the Crossroads to see the printing process and look at all of their goods! Or shop online in the meantime!
