Working Wardrobe: March 10

Today's beautiful weather called for a spring wardrobe shake-up with fun brights and nautical stripes. After my quick shopping trip at J.Crew Factory this weekend, I was more than ready for today. I picked up at the store a new striped boat neck tee and a statement necklace with crystal and colored stones. I paired those two pieces with my kelly green pencil skirt, black tights (because it's not that warm in the school yet), and Mary Jane heels. I loved the mix of colors together that felt so spring-like!

On Sunday I picked up a few bundles of colored Gerbera daisies at Trader Joe's. It was just impossible to resist the beautiful poppy, yellow, and pink hues as I walked through the flower area. I knew they would look stunning in my vintage blue bottles and couldn't wait to put them on my oak vanity! There's just something about bringing the beauty of fresh flowers into my bedroom that immediately enlivens the space and makes it feels a bit less stuffy! As I sit here now, my windows are open and a gently breeze is blowing through, seemingly bringing with it a breath of new spring life!
