Here's how you do it:
step 3: twisting the hair up |
1. Using slightly damp hair, apply a leave in conditioner. I use Aussie's Hair Insurance and it works well. The conditioner helps give your hair a shine in the morning.
2. Separate your hair into two sections vertically down the back of your head.
3. Twist one section in whichever direction you want the hair to curl. (I usually twist backwards.) Twist it tight and then using two bobby pins secure your hair to the top of your head.
4. Repeat with the second section.
5. Sleep on it!
6. Remove hair from the bobby pins and shake it out. Give it a little hold with hairspray and you are ready to go!
This also is great for second-day hair! Just spray your roots with dry shampoo and if you want a bit of extra definition use a 1 inch curling iron to touch up the curls.
