History and High Heels: Summer Wedding Wear

If you're like me, it seems that summertime post-college has become filled with a minimum of two weddings to attend throughout the season. Choosing an outfit to attend these events is often stress-inducing as you really want to look your best, but many factors can turn into obstacles. You've got to reconcile the warm weather with a cute outfit, dressing presentably while still looking sexy, and fun summer shoes that can let you dance all night. That's why I recommend you wear a looser, chiffon-like dress that can breathe in the heat, one that accentuates your feminine curves, but isn't too short or tight. Also, lower wedge heels will be a life saver when you are out there making moves on the dance floor.

One of my favorite trends for this summer are polka dot dresses. They are fun and girly and look great paired with a color block clutch and bright leather belt. If the ceremony is outdoors, pick up a straw fedora or boat hat to wear that will perfectly compliment your summery ensemble!
