Happy Thursday! This week I had a much needed appointment at my hair salon Roots & Branches in the Rivermarket. I've been desperately wanting to cut my hair ever since the wedding. I had a reprieve when after the honeymoon I chopped it off into a lob, but ultimately I needed a bigger change. So after some research, I decided to go for the bob! I stuck with long layers in the front, but went shorter and more choppy in the back. It's perfect for wavy, curly hair. I'm still figuring out how best to style it, so look out for that in future posts!
Today I went to visit the City Manager of Kansas City for professional development. So I tailored my outfit for the more professional environment, with a chambray shirt, gold spray flower skirt, and leopard print pumps. I also added my tuxedo jacket for a final touch of dressiness. I chose to tie my shirt at my waist to avoid tucking and nip the whole look in.
I hope you have a great rest of your week! I'll be up in Omaha this weekend visiting my best friend so look out for photos on Instagram!
