Back in St. John, I picked up an awesome tank at a local gift shop made of the softest t-shirt material and with an epic, bold design - a gigantic shark squarely on the front. This isn't something I usually pick up (because frankly, I'm never sure when I would wear it), but I've been looking around lately for vintage-inspired humorous graphic t-shirts. This shark tank (see what I did there?!) fit the bill.
Tuesday morning rolls around and in a flash of panic with no real outfit planned, I revert to a style that I so rarely wear - rocker chic. The funky tank paired with a grey pencil skirt (J.Crew) match up for an eclectic take on business casual. I completed the look with my tuxedo jacket (Forever21) to confirm that yes, this is a work outfit, but it was so simple at the end of the day to throw on my leather jacket and be ready for quick cocktail with girlfriends.
