Working Wardrobe: April 2nd

I remember picking up this black suit jacket years ago at Talbots with my mother and thinking that I would wear it frequently to my new job out of college. But the years passed and there it sat in my closet, hardly touched. Last night I spotted it as I was prepping my outfit for today and knew it would be the perfect addition to add polish and professionalism. I dressed up especially for a job interview I had and wanted to make a great impression. While the black pants and suit jacket brought some seriousness to the outfit, the pink gingham shirt and red shoes brought just enough pop of color and fun to show my personality without going overboard! It really was a nice way to bring fashion and business formal together without feeling forced or overdone.
