Style Icon: Olivia Palermo

One actress and model who has really stood out to me this month is Olivia Palermo. Olivia starred in The City, a Hills spinoff on MTV, but now works for Wilhelmina Models and has graced the covers of Elle, ASOS, Tatler, and worked on the Mango campaign for 2010. Marie Claire UK dubbed her "The Most Fashionable Girl in the World in June 2011 when she made the cover story.

She is known for her more fashion-forward styles that blend eccentric pieces in with classically elegant items. Olivia is often seen wearing tailored tuxedo jackets, vintage skirts, statement necklaces with her envy-worthy middle-part hairstyles. Her well-honed fashion sense has sky-rocketed her to the pages of numerous magazines and blogs, which makes her an obvious choice for this month's Style Icon.
