A Melting Pot of Fabrics

One of the finest characteristics of the United States in my opinion is the fact that our nation is such a melting pot of different religions, ethnicities, cultures, styles, and opinions. Just as it is healthy for a country to have diversity in its people, it is also good for you to have diversity in your wardrobe. My favorite combinations sometimes are the weirdest combinations of fabrics and colors. As the weather cools down I am looking forward to wearing my sequin skirt with a heavier sweater and my leopard print flats. The mixing of different fabrics helps give an outfit a sophisticated and unique look. In the end, it's all about being conscious of your wardrobe and taking time to put together your outfit for the day or night before throwing on those well-worn jeans in your closet. The few key secrets to dressing with style are taking chances with colors, being conscious of figure flattering styles, and infusing your wardrobe with items that reflect your personality.

A few of my favorite combinations for the moment are knit/sequins, silk/wool, and lace/leather as well as seafoam/chartruese, mustard/orchid, and florals/stripes. Do you have any favorite combinations right now?
