Preparing for the imminent snowfall is usually a constant reality here in Kansas City. Strangely, the weather this winter has fluctuated more than usual, so a constant check of the impending weather is necessary. Today, true to the season, it was a snowy afternoon and definitely required smart choices on clothing. I grabbed my colorblock sweater (J.Crew) and pixi pants with leather detail (J.Crew Factory). As I looked at my shoe collection, my brightly detailed cowboy boots just called my name. Leaving the house requires a few minutes to bundle up - a long down puffer coat, plaid wool scarf, and wool KC hat. It's one of those practical outfits that keeps you warm without feeling frumpy - a must for the winter!
By the way, in this photoshoot I learned just how uncooperative cats are when posing for the camera. How unhelpful? Just look at Willard's unhappy face. Bonus points if you spot Bear.
