Working Wardrobe: February 20

I have felt like the luckiest girl this week. Last weekend I had a four days off, which was amazing! I filled my days off with a serious binge on Netflix's House of Cards season two (crazy awesome show if you haven't given in yet!) with my fiancé. On Saturday afternoon, we took a break from the couch and went window-shopping throughout the Plaza while drinking Starbucks lattes. Really, how much better could it have gotten?

Tuesday, I continued my World War I unit with my AP US History classes. Today we had a particularly awesome lesson where we discussed restricting civil liberties in wartime and made the connection to Edward Snowden and the NSA spying scandal. The kids really got into it! We had some wonderful and thought-provoking discussions in each of the classes, which just made my day!

Today, since the weather got a bit chillier, I wore my favorite corduroy pants in a camel brown. I added a light chambray shirt layered underneath my navy stripe sweater. Since I was going to be on my feet most of the day, I slipped on a pair of comfortable black oxfords. Finally, I topped my outfit with my oversized grey scarf, grabbed my coat, and headed out the door!
