Tackling Tights

Today is the biggest day of the year where millions of Americans watch muscular men running around a field in tights, otherwise known as the Super Bowl. So obviously this is the perfect time to talk about tights! Yesterday Punxsutawney Phil predicted that we would have an early spring and we're now getting into the perfect time to bust out those tights! It's amazing how the sheer material can keep your legs warm in the cold winds. They are the perfect transitionary piece to help transform your winter wardrobe into a spring wardrobe. Tights let you bust out skirts and dresses that lay previously dormant in your closet.

I've put together for you an array of tight options that are trending right now. Geometric, dotted, and detailed tights add a fun pattern to a plain outfit. Colored tights (especially jewel toned) add a punch of color to a monochromatic look. Sheer tights are a great way to keep your legs warm(er) while wearing shorts, skirts, and dresses. I especially like pairing sheer tights with black evening shorts. Tights are just a great way to help you transition from winter to spring and should not be undervalued!
